"When was the last time you were at a wedding that had a death defying hike, rogue waves, a luau, ultimate fighting, a presidential candidate and a budding bromance?" asks Papi Chulo. For most of us, the answer is never, but luckily, Papi Chulo and Secret Agent Scotch took the time to Vox all the amazing moments during their unforgettable Hawaiian wedding on 08.08.08 so we could all take part in the festivities.
The story began last February, when Papi Chulo popped the question and Secret Agent Scotch said yes! Since then, they've kept us in the loop about all the details, from the bride's veil to the wedding song to the final To-Do List. And throughout it all, they inspired us with their love for each other. (I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better than knowing your future husband thinks you are The Perfect Girl.)

A grassroots organization of Hillary Clinton supporters has announced plans to march in Denver on the same day the New York senator is set to address her party’s faithful during the Democratic convention there.
The march will take place on August 26 and is being organized by 18 Million Voices Rise Hillary Rise. The march will be accompanied by a festival in downtown Denver and additional coordinated marches across the country on the same day.
Clinton, who garnered approximately 18 million votes in the long Democratic primary fight, is scheduled to speak at the convention on the 88th anniversary of the date American women were granted the right to vote.
Since Clinton announced the formal suspension of her presidential campaign, the Obama campaign has gone to great lengths to promote party unity. Clinton and Obama appeared together at a campaign event in Unity, New Hampshire; the Obama campaign recently announced that New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson will be holding two fund-raising events to help retire Clinton’s campaign debt; and Clinton is scheduled to campaign on Obama’s behalf in key states.

Seems as though everyone is unhappy with their job for one reason or another. These were nice guys. I told them I wanted to take a picture of them for my website and they got all excited (expecially the one in the middle). They kept asking if I was going to get them national attention. Um...sure...sorta of :)

I think Colorado will decide the 2008 election.
- Let's face it - Obama won't win Virginia, Ohio, Florida - even though he thinks he can.
- McCain won't win New Hampshire, Michigan, or Minnesota.
I have noticed political junkies giving alot of attention to swing states and Obama's poor chances of winning them in November. But a better point might be that Obama loses the bellwether states. Bellwether states are states that have a history of determing the next President by voting with the majority of the nation.
The Top 5 Bellwether states (in order) are
1. Missouri - 1 miss (1956) from 1904 on, perfect since 1960
2. Nevada - 1 miss (1976) from 1912 on, perfect since 1980
3. Tennessee - 1 miss (1960) from 1928 on, perfect since 1964
4. Ohio - 2 misses (1944, 1960) from 1896 on, perfect since 1964
5. Kentucky - 2 misses (1952, 1960) from 1924 on, perfect since 1964
Obama loses all 5 according to polls
Whereas Hillary wins 3 - Missouri Nevada and Ohio are all sure wins and Tennessee and Kentucky would more than likely have swung to her...
Just my observation. I dont't pay much attention to national polls because they don't mean anything. It's the electoral map that is important.
